I bought an AC Unit that I recently attempted to return. It doesn't perform as advertised and I was disappointed. When I purchased the unit, I asked if I could return it after using and was told yes. On my receipt, it is clear that I can return the unit. However, the manager told me it couldn't be returned. There is a small sign above a few units (not at the location where mine was) that explained this policy. This policy is not anywhere else (the reciept, website, etc.). I will never return to this store again.
I was there the other night picking up wood to build a lattice for my patio. I believe the man who helped us was called Andries..?? He was so helpful and went above and beyond to make sure we had exactly what we needed, and that everything was safely secured in our vehicle. His customer service skills and expertise were much higher than my expectations based on previous encounters with other employees in hardware stores. This man needs a raise! It's hard to come by employees who put care into their work like he did. I would highly recommend going to this Rona based solely on the service he provided.
I am so delighted. I called another large box store first and was put on hold for too long. I needed help ASAP since my contractors were ready to start. I called Rona. Within two minutes the nice young man at paints put aside the paint colour I was looking for . I went to pick it up and he carried it to the car. The cashier named Debbie was also so very helpful. Its all about great customer service and having hard to find stains, paint etc in stock. I was so impressed ! I am going there from here on for anything else I need. !
Only because of the blatant "Proudly Canadian" wording on the store when Rona has been owned by Americans for 2 years. Milking a misguided concept of patriotism guarantees no money from my pocket
Typical big box store. Well stocked with very knowlegable and helpful staff. Could use better signage for washrooms. But well laid out. The staff here is what makes this store great. Friendly and know their stuff.
