They had great fast service and food. The German food was the best and most authentic experience I have found outside of Germany, Austria and Switzerland! The owner was very nice and they had live german music playing that was very good! I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Vancouver!
A wonderful restaurant. Traditional German dishes, with excellent specials. My all time favourite is Vienner Schnitzel with the Hunter Sauce on the side, all potatoes and a side of Sptzle. We went with friends... and the meal and the service were outstanding. As always Chris was charming and the night was a success.
Delicious food with authentic flavours. One of the best Schweinshaxe in the city. Service was slow due to volume but the earnest, warm, and friendly aspect of it more than made up for it. Well priced for the quality and great location.
Very Lovely atmosphere with a wonderful pianist. We were a group of 6. Some gave 5 stars and some 3. There, the 4 stars. Food is great. I would suggest to add a server on Fridays summer nights. It was a bit tiring to ask a few times the same thing or to try talk to the server before he ran away.
Always phenomenal food. Generous portions and the host and waitstaff are welcoming and friendly despite being busy every time we go in. The live music on weekends is cheerful and sometimes surprising in a geeky way (Star Trek theme cover, anyone?) Always interesting watching them answer calls to the restaurant on a working OLD phone. Nothing in the lower mainland comes close to this place. Oh - make room for the strudel.
