Very disappointing. I have had more keys cut here that did not work than did work. Had to pay for every key cut incorrectly. Pricing seems very high. Canadian tire guarantees a key cut for 1/2 the price.
Three main features make this store in Lynn Valley Mall a true hidden gem:It's local owned and run by the knowledgable and ready-to-go-the-extra-Mile Sam, who will tell it like is, but still give you a great price :)Secondly, The Sam has ensured that there is a wall to wall FABULOUS selection! Of everything you could want in a key/knife shop. Including, but not limited to, *PINK* knives in every brand :). This pleased me greatly.Third. The Sam does not take your money and make you keys that will not work on your car, like SOME key places will do. After my nagging, The Sam showed me the electronic thingy that beeps to show that there is some sort of electronic something inside the key, and advised me to go to the dealer for duplicates which would be able to start the car. I know of other key shops that would make the copy, which will open the car door but NOT start the car, in order to make the money. I appreciate the honesty of The Sam!
Well, he tried to.charge me $28!!!! For 2 keys that cost me 5.90 at Canadian tire. And yes, half the time his keys don't work. And he's very unfriendly. Not a place I'd recommend.
